The School of Medicine of European University Cyprus hosted for another consecutive year the International Biomedical Conference, “12th International Biomedical Conference of the European University Cyprus School of Medicine” at the European University Cyprus.
This three-day conference, co-organized with the Cyprus Medical Association, was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus, the Cyprus Society of Cardiology, the Cyprus Biological Society, and other medical associations and patient organizations.
Overall, 75 distinguished speakers from internationally renowned institutions were presented, Keynote speakers include Dr. Randall Starling (cardiologist), Dr. John McMurray (cardiologist), Dr. Roberto Di Bartolomeo (cardiothoracic surgeon), Dr. Constantino Hadjipanayi (neurologist/neurosurgeon), Dr. Richard Frackowiak, and world-renowned Professor Dr. Thomas Sudhof (2013 Nobel Laureate in Medicine for his research on neuron communication), among many others.
