The Clinical Fellowship Program at the European University Cyprus, School of Medicine in Nicosia, Cyprus provide recent graduates of European University Cyprus, as well as young residents the opportunity to further their medical education under the guidance of EUC faculty members, who are experts in various specialties.

The EUC Clinical Fellowships are designed to offer graduates invaluable training and mentorship, catering to individuals with a keen interest in patient care, research or both. Each Fellowship offers a variety of options for interested fellows, such as focus on clinical expertise, research, subspecialty areas or multidisciplinary proficiency.  Through a blend of contemporary clinical training, faculty mentorship, didactic instruction and research opportunities, the EUC Fellowship Program fosters professional growth.

The objective of the EUC Fellowship is to equip new physicians with the requisite clinical acumen to uphold the highest standards of patient care, or alternatively, to nurture their research interests and capabilities.  EUC fellows are afforded training experiences, working alongside our faculty members at the bedside within our affiliated hospitals or research centers, as well as within the EUC Medical School.  The EUC Fellowship serves as a pivotal steppingstone for individuals to effectively pursue specialization and sub-specialization.

Facial Cosmetic Surgery Clinical Fellowship

Facial Cosmetic Surgery Clinical Fellowship provides fellows with the experience in the practice and techniques of facial reconstructive and plastic surgery.  Facial cosmetic surgery is a specialty exclusively dedicated to the enhancement of appearance through surgical and medical techniques directed to the areas of the head, and neck. Facial cosmetic surgery is performed by dermatologists, facial plastic surgeons, general surgeons, ophthalmologists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, otolaryngologists, plastic surgeons, and physicians from other fields. Facial cosmetic surgery is primarily learned post-residency through continuing education, training, and experience.  European University Cyprus with Association of Facial Cosmetic surgery offers this fellowship program pre-residency.

  • The program has a stipend.
  • Successful completion of this fellowship program provides 60 CPD credits.

 

Medical Education & Research Fellowship

The Medical Education & Research Fellowship takes place at the European University Cyprus School of Medicine at Nicosia. The fellowship is a one-year program for graduates who wish to specialize in medical education. The program offers training and practical experience in the design and administration of educational modules in medical school curricula, principles of adult learning, assessment methodology, transference of technical and non-technical skills, team-based learning, student peer teaching, and research in medical education. The program follows Clinician Educator Milestones set by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), and American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) Report Worksheet. Up to two fellows are accepted per year and the program has a stipend.

  • EUC Medical School Graduate
  • Registered with Cyprus Medical Council (for clinical practice fellowships)
