EUCMS embraces a broad range of CME formats, including live, in-person meetings and workshops, as well as hybrid and fully online courses. While traditional conferences remain important, we recognize the growing trend towards online and hybrid learning, which offers greater flexibility and accessibility for healthcare professionals.
Target Audience
Our programs are tailored to a diverse audience, including clinicians, researchers, resident trainees, medical students, and other healthcare providers such as nurses and allied health professionals. We aim to serve both local practitioners and those across the region. With the establishment of the General Health System of Cyprus (GeSY), we also offer targeted continuing education opportunities for primary healthcare providers who play a crucial role in the health system.

We achieve our mission through the development, delivery, and evaluation of a wide range of educational activities, including conferences, seminars, workshops (featuring simulation learning), and online webinars. Medical Science Insight Lectures
The School of Medicine and MedIC host a series of events throughout the year, including, journal clubs, research meetings, research presentations by graduate students, expert lectures, among others to both develop a community of scientists and critical thinkers and enhance peer support. A core activity is the lecture series “Medical Science Insight Lectures”. The series is an extension of the School’s Medical Science PhD program and features live events with leading personalities worldwide. The aim is to provide a rich transdisciplinary forum and masterclass for the scientific community to be inspired and engaged in the rapidly changing world of medical science.
