Clinical Instructors (CIs) are responsible for supervising students during their activities in the various clinics while they complete their clinical rotations at specific affiliated hospitals and specific specialties. By showing students how to perform key duties, providing instructive feedback, offering vital insight into procedures and patient care, CIs are key educational partners and essential guides for European University Cyprus medical student training.
In acknowledgement of the importance of Clinical teaching, the annual “Clinical teaching program – Train the trainers” seminar is designed for all European University Cyprus Clinical instructors who teach European University Cyprus medical students in the clinical environment. These seminars introduce clinical educators to the basic concepts of clinical and bedside education.
Lectures focus on the principles, guidelines and alternatives, that clinical teaching faculty can use to improve their teaching effectiveness. The seminar provides high-yield, relevant and interactive sessions, providing practical tips for bedside teaching.
