European Seminar on Infection Control, School of Medicine EUC
The School of Medicine, EUC successfully organized the 2nd Seminar in Infection Prevention and Control, “Infection Prevention and Control: Surveillance and Metacompetence”, on 10-11 June 2019.
This EU-accredited seminar, that included faculty experts from Cyprus and Greece, is part of the European Training Program in Infection Prevention and Control of the European Committee on Infection Control (EUCIC) and the European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infection Control (ESCMID).
More than 20 healthcare professionals from around the world attended, as well as the students of the Master program of EUC “Infectious diseases: prevention and control”.
This seminar, which is just one of the various activities of the School of Medicine, EUC in the field of infectious diseases, was considered a success, as it received very positive feedback and highlighted the local potential in education and research in the field of infectious diseases.
